About

«Intet er litet intet er stort – I os er verdener. Det smaa deler sig i det store.
Det store i det smaa – en bloddraape en verden med solcentrer og kloder.
Havet en draape. En liden del av et legeme.»

"Nothing is small, nothing is big - In us are worlds. The small divides into the big. The big in the small – a
drop of blood a world with solar centers and globes. Had a drop. A small part of a body.”

The quote is taken from Edvard Munch's poem "Nothing is small, nothing is great - there are worlds within us", reflects humans as moving within ourselves, between each other and our surroundings. We live in and are presented to both the inner and the great outer world, through all our senses and channels. Often overwhelming, far away, distant. And at the same time near. Diverse and complex. As people and professionals. There are worlds within us! This is the overall theme of this congress.

 Dates

Tuesday 27.08. registration starts at 14.00 and the Get-together 19.00.
The congress opens Wednesday 28.8 at 09.00 and ends on Friday 30.08 at 15.00.
More information about the program will follow.
This will be an exciting congress you do not want to miss!

Invitation to contributions

The Norwegian Association for Family Therapy wants the 13th Nordic Congress to be a forum where everyone with an interest in systemic practice and relational work can exchange ideas and thoughts, theories and experiences. We want the congress to add to diversity and complexity in our field of expertise.

To do so, we invite you to contribute with a presentation in line with the congress's theme of diversity and encourage you to find expressions that best suit your contribution. It is up to you to decide the form these may have – from clinical practice, research presentations, arts and culture communication, dialogues, posters, installations or verbal reflections.

Decisions for submitted abstracts will be notified by February 15, 2024, to the e-mail address provided by the authors when submitting the abstract. If you have not entered your email address in the abstract, it can be forwarded to sari.kaarina.lindeman@hvl.no.

It is still possible to submit an abstract for the poster. The submission deadline is Feb. 15, 2024. Click here for more information.

We look forward to seeing you in Bergen 2024!
